Advanced product quality planning (APQP)
At PJS we believe good project management is at the heart of any truly successful company.
Our Operations Director has over 25 years of experience in project management within the auto industry, and we utilise a proven APQP techniques for new work introduced into the company.
Once feasibility is given and an order is received, a dedicated project team is assigned to the product(s), with the key members of the team taking ownership of each product for its entire life.
Timing plans are generated based on the phased PPAP system, then regularly distributed to customers and suppliers.
Project review meetings take place, with all stakeholders, to monitor every aspect of the project such as timing, feasibility, changes, testing and project goals.
From initial quotation, optimisation of the design and moulding processes are built into project timescales.
As a predictive tool, and to demonstrate optimum part/tool design and process parameters, customers are offered full mould flow (including filling patterns cooling and warp analysis) if required.
